It's been just over a year since her debut in televised renovations 屏東房屋翻修 with "Trixie Motel," the Discovery+ reality show that chronicled her journey alongside life partner David Silver as they revamped an entire Palm Springs hotel. Now, the dynamic duo is taking their renovation talents to the next level with "Trixie Motel: Drag Me Home," where they'll be turning their (Barbie) dream home into a masterpiece while exploring the joys and challenges of living together. Like "Trixie Motel," this latest project is produced by Scott Brothers Entertainment, with the Property Brothers serving as executive producers.

Trixie Mattel excitedly shared the news on her Instagram with the caption, "We’re back in renovation mode! Trixie Motel: Drag Me Home is coming to @hgtv next summer!!" The comments section is already bursting with ecstatic fans, including Christine Quinn, our beloved "villain" from "Selling Sunset," who couldn't contain her enthusiasm, exclaiming, "I CANT WAIT!!!!"

Unfortunately, the release date isn't just around the corner. Those eagerly awaiting the big reveal of Mattel's dream home will have to wait until the summer of 2024. However, the official statement promises that when the time comes, our patience will be rewarded with four exciting hour-long episodes in this limited series. The show will follow Trixie Mattel and David Silver as they establish themselves in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, sharing the highs and lows of their personal renovation journey while embarking on cohabitation for the first time. It's bound to be as hilarious and heartwarming as her previous show.

Loren Ruch, the Head of Content at HGTV, spoke about this exciting project, stating, "Now we'll get to check in on the couple's progress as motel proprietors and watch them navigate the highs and lows of a personal renovation project while moving in together for the first time." It's a definite must-see for fans and viewers alike.

We have full faith in HGTV to capture every hot pink and sassy detail of their home, as they've done before. Are we secretly hoping for a Katya cameo? Absolutely, but the sheer excitement of having Trixie back on our screens is enough to keep us counting down the days until summer arrives!
